Individuals with knowledge of a crime can call the Sidney-Shelby County Tip Line at 937.419.8355 to give tips and clues. All informants may choose to remain anonymous, only having their information identified with a code number to protect the caller’s identity.
If the information given to the Tip Line leads to an arrest a cash reward could be received.
Our citizen-supported partnership between the media, citizens, and law enforcement who join together to fight crime in Shelby County is a valuable asset to the Sheriff’s Department.
The purpose of this program is to work in partnership with local law enforcement, by acting as a conduit for exchange of information and ideas thereby reducing crime and increasing the quality of life within Shelby County.
